About The Role
Our Mining Operators provide safe and efficient operational support to the Longwall so that the mines production and budgetary targets are met.

We currently have 1 x position available in our Longwall panel.

The role will be offered on a Residential or DIDO basis. Relocation assistance can be offered to candidates looking to move to the area.

What You'll Do

  • Operate plant and equipment where trained and authorised in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with relevant rules and procedures.
  • Inspect equipment and communicate the equipment status to all relevant personnel.
  • Report all incidents, non-conformances, defects or hazards to the Deputy.
  • Maintain the designated mine housekeeping standards.
  • Participate under the direction of the Deputy in all operational tasks that you are trained and competent.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience working on a Longwall production face.
  • At least 12 months previous experience working at an underground coal mine (transcript to be provided during screening).
  • Prior competencies to be provided during screening, inclusive of work alone authorisation.
  • Ability to meet clean-shaven requirements in line with Coal Mining Respiratory Safety Standards
