Located at our Murray Bridge operation, CW Products is seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the person we are seeking will possess the following attributes:

  • Have previous experience in machine maintenance and welding
  • Able to think laterally, and are results focussed
  • Enjoy challenges and problem solving
  • Are technically minded
  • Can demonstrate you have a 'can do' attitude and can work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • You must be physically fit as manual handling and lifting is required with the ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Reliable with a good work ethic

Experience & Skills:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the maintenance department to meet output and delivery targets
  • Manage shift schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure optimal labour utilisation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and lead toolbox talks and safety observations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer focussed, proactive and reliable
  • Able to work within a team
  • Ability to create and follow plans and design concepts
  • High attention to detail and quality of workmanship
  • Strong Welding experience essential
  • Ability to read and understand workshop drawings
  • Use of hand/power tools and welding frames and components
  • Maintenance of manufacturing machinery in a timely manner to reduce machine down time
  • Preventative and scheduled machine maintenance
  • Ability to identify and search for replacement parts as needed
  • Intermediate computer skills

Qualifications:

  • Forklift ticket is essential
  • Current drivers license essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
  • Previous supervisory or management role in a busy workshop is essential
  • Previous welding and machine maintenance experience is essential
