Head Chef – Tailrace Centre

We are seeking a creative and motivated Head Chef to lead our talented kitchen team at the Tailrace Centre. This role oversees all food operations across our diverse service areas, including functions, events, and Jude's Café

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in a hands-on capacity, managing all aspects of kitchen operations and staff.
  • Uphold and strengthen our high standards of quality and consistency across all menus.
  • Design and implement innovative, trend-informed menus that reflect our values and community.
  • Champion our mission, vision, and core values through your leadership style and kitchen culture.
  • Ensure every guest across our venues enjoys a consistently exceptional culinary experience.
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar-sized establishment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage food and labour costs effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen operations and advanced culinary expertise.
  • Creativity and innovation in menu planning and dish development.
