Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and technically skilled Civil Engineer to support our building projects across Queensland.

Working under the guidance of the Project Manager, this role will collaborate closely with designers, site supervisors, and clients to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the structural design and technical review of residential and small commercial projects.
  • Manage and monitor project schedules, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate the work of contractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare construction reports, technical documentation, and progress records.
  • Support project budgeting, cost control, and engineering optimization.
  • Ensure all works comply with Australian building codes and standards (NCC / AS Standards).
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams, providing ongoing technical support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in construction or structural engineering within Australia.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant engineering software.
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes, construction methods, and workflows.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Possession of a valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
