What We Offer

WAX Design is an Adelaide based award winning, multi-disciplinary landscape architecture studio with collaboration at the centre of our design process.

The heart of our studio is our team. We offer a creative and vibrant studio culture and are strong advocates for supporting wellbeing, flexibility and a positive work-life balance. Our studio operates 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday) with a total 33 hour week.

We currently have a unique opportunity for a driven and creative Graduate Landscape Architect in their final year of university or with up to 2 years' experience to join our team. If you have a fresh approach to design, would love to be a part of an energetic studio environment and be involved in some exciting and challenging projects, we would love to hear from you

You would work on a diverse range of metropolitan & regional South Australian projects in the fields of urban design, open space, play and education, master planning, art and design, residential garden design and more.

As part of the WAX team, we would encourage and support the further development of your landscape architecture skills and your career growth. We would provide an in-house mentor and help you on your pathway towards becoming a Registered Landscape Architect.

Key Requirements and Desired Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture (undertaking or completed)
  • Proven experience in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs
  • Strongly motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively and autonomously
  • Rigorous approach to design
  • Site supervision experience
  • Ability to time manage, meet project deadlines, and provide the best outcome for the client
  • Strong communication and professional presentation skills
  • Demonstrated plant knowledge
  • Hand drawing and rendering skills

Salary remuneration is equivalent to a full time 5 day a week package, and will be dependent on the individuals' demonstrated skills and experience. A part time role can be negotiated if still studying.
