Position: OSHC Educator – Permanent Part-Time (school term time)

Annandale Christian College is a thriving, Christ-centred learning community in Townsville, committed to nurturing students academically, spiritually, and socially. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated OSHC Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team on a permanent part-time basis during school term time only.

About the Role:

This position offers a split-shift schedule during the school term:

· Morning Shift: 7:00am – 9:00am

· Afternoon Shift: 2:45pm – 5:15pm

· Monday to Friday (4.5 hours per day)

Flexible options available: Candidates may apply for mornings only, afternoons only, or both shifts.


Key Responsibilities:

· Provide a caring, safe, and engaging environment for students in Prep to Year 6 before and after school.

· Assist with planning and delivering a range of creative and age-appropriate activities.

· Support students' wellbeing, ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

· Supervise and guide students in line with the College's values and policies.

· Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.

· Maintain accurate attendance records and assist with general administrative tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Experience in a similar child-focused role is highly desirable.

· An approved qualification under ACECQA for OSHC (over preschool age care) or working towards.

· Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is required.

· First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain).

· A pastoral reference and employment reference are essential.
