We have an opportunity for a Junior Civil Drafter to join our Community Development team in Maroochydore. This role will see you provide civil design services using AutoCAD for a wide variety of urban development projects. Our projects are located locally and throughout the Southeast Queensland region.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include: 

  • Preparation of conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards

  • Drafting to support civil engineering design for land subdivision, road and drainage projects using AutoCAD

  • Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard and within time and cost budget allocations

  • Contribute to ensuring deliverables of a project including quality control and completed on time and within project budgets

  • Develop and maintain a high level awareness of our design and drafting standards

  • Ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded

About you

 

To be successful you will display:

  • Demonstrated Civil drafting experience, ideally in civil infrastructure, land, urban or subdivisions

  • Demonstrated experience using design software including AutoCAD

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements

  • A commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development

  • 12D design experience highly regarded
