What You'll Do

  • Lead the Mobile Development:
    Act as the technical authority for the
    React Native
    mobile app, driving all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Architecture & Design:
    Define and implement the mobile application's architecture, ensuring
    scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
    are prioritised.
  • Hands-On Coding:
    Write clean, high-quality, and well-tested code in React Native, setting a high standard for the team.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:
    Guide and mentor a small, dedicated team of mobile engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and Backend Engineers.
  • Tooling & CI/CD:
    Select and manage the tools, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines essential for an efficient mobile development workflow.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years
    of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years
    of deep, hands-on experience developing and deploying production-ready applications using
    React Native
    .
  • Expertise with the entire React ecosystem, including
    Redux, Hooks, Functional Components
    , and
    TypeScript
    .
  • A strong understanding of
    mobile app architecture patterns
    .
  • Experience with
    secure coding practices.
  • Experience with or interested to stop into
    lead technical projects
    and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
