Active Health Portland are seeking an enthusiastic Practice Nurse looking to thrive in our supportive close knit team. This position is part-time - starting at a minimum of 48 hours per fortnight.

Our multidisciplinary practice provides a friendly, positive, and respectful work environment, offering patients of all ages a variety of services to help with the management of their wellbeing.

The successful candidate will need to have a professional, mature outlook with exceptional communication and administration skills. Your role will be to provide support to patients and clinicians.

Requirements:

  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Up to date police clearance & WWC clearance
  • Coordination, management, and maintenance of patient clinical data
  • Knowledge of health assessments and care plans is highly regarded
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills.

  • Chronic Disease Management
  • Health Assessments
  • Wound Management
  • Pre-Employment Medicals
  • Vaccinations
  • Iron Infusions
  • Assisting Doctors with surgical procedures
  • Stock ordering and treatment room administration
  • Recalls
  • ECG's
