- Relevant tertiary teaching qualifications
- Valid registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Demonstrated experience in teaching science at the secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Full alignment with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College
- The ability to affirm and adhere to the College's Statement of Faith
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and engage students
- A passion for science and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young minds
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to the broader school community
- Possess the legal right to live and work in Australia.
