Governance Support Officer

Our government client is seeking an experienced Governance Support Officer to join their team on a casual basis, and provide coverage while other team members are on leave during 2025.

The Governance Support Officer role provides administrative support to the Governance Business Unit undertaking a range of activities to support both the governance function and preparations for the upcoming government elections.

Contract: Temp - Casual (dates mentioned below)
Location: Joondalup

The dates currently requiring coverage for is:

Now to 16/05/2025 (very likely to be extended)
13/06/ /06/2025
30/06/ /07/2025
7/08/ /09/2025
29/09/ /10/2025

Some of the skills they are looking for in the suitable candidate are as follows:

  • Experience undertaking purchasing / invoicing tasks (experience using the TechOne system would be highly desirable).
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic/Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The preferred candidate would have transferable skills and an ability to work well in a team environment. They would also be required to work on-site 4 days per week and a standard 7.6hr working day with a 30minute lunch break.
