In this role, you will plan and deliver comprehensive patient care across a variety of settings, including the state-of-the-art Griffith Base Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment, where no two days are the same.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join us in this critical role to provide, plan and deliver comprehensive, high-quality care to patients and clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD).

As The Senior Physiotherapist, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Working collaboratively and where appropriate lead the multidisciplinary team to optimise health status and well-being of each client/patient and carer in the optimum environment and facilitate safe and timely discharge from the service.
  • Maintaining appropriate and accurate activity statistics and documentation.
  • Providing high level clinical expertise and knowledge in their specialty area (which may include generalist practice) within MLHD
  • Working across both the inpatient and outpatient areas

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
  • Advanced knowledge, skills, clinical experience and ability to provide patient-centred, evidence-based Physiotherapy services across a range of clinical areas and a willingness to use telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
  • Excellence in communication skills, including the skills required for interacting constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
