Swimming Instructor

Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position.

SWIMMING INSTRUCTOR – Casual (no formal swimming qualifications required; training will be provided to the successful candidate)

The Role; As the Swimming Instructor you will have the drive to implement and deliver quality swimming and water safety lessons in a safe and friendly manner in accordance with the GRALC Learn to Swim program. The instructor will participate in the relevant training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge

• You are flexible with your availability, shifts times below;

Mornings   - 9:00 to 12:00 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday:

Afternoons - 3:30 to 6:30 - Monday to Friday:

• You are fun loving, enjoy working with children of all ages and have great communication skills

Qualifications you need:

• Working with Children Check Clearance Number and current CPR certification. Please include copies of all relevant licences and qualifications with your application.

Salary and conditions: Commencement ordinary hourly rate $ inclusive of casual loading), penalty rates for any weekend work (Grade 5) plus superannuation.

Special conditions: This position is designated as a child-related position. It is an offence under NSW Legislation for a person convicted of a serious sex offence to apply for this position.
