About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Management Consultants with a proven track record in Australian public sector consulting, Program/project management and Client Management. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical and business expertise, strong analytical skills, and a consultative approach to deliver impactful solutions for government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop comprehensive client-ready documents and deliver impactful presentations such as project artefacts, independent reports and business cases.
– Drive project scoping, estimation, and planning activities, ensuring robust delivery methodologies.
– Cultivate strong client relationships, focusing on senior management stakeholders, and identify opportunities for additional engagements.
– Bring thought leadership to solve client business need.
– Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary project teams and key stakeholders.
– Monitor project risks, dependencies, and interdependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
– Provide strategic insights to clients and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
– Ensure compliance with public sector frameworks, policies, and procurement guidelines.
What makes you a great fit?
– 7+ years of consulting experience, with at least 5 years in Australian public sector consulting.
– Demonstrated experience managing projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
– Strong technical background with experience in system integrations, data analysis, or enterprise applications.
– Strong understanding of public sector operations, regulations, and procurement processes.
– Your experience spans the full project lifecycle, with a proven track record of producing high-quality, client-facing artefacts across diverse project scopes and functional areas, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach.
– You exhibit strong capability in project scoping, estimation, budgeting, and resource planning—ensuring timelines, costs, and resources are effectively managed to deliver successful outcomes.
– Australian citizen with AGSVA security clearance (Baseline or higher)
