About the Company

A well-established and fast-growing trade services business is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its Unanderra branch.

The company provides plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning services to residential and commercial clients across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, with a strong focus on quality, customer service, and team culture.

The Role

This is your chance to take ownership of day-to-day branch operations. You will lead a skilled team, oversee scheduling and workflow, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Working closely with senior management, you will also monitor branch profitability and be rewarded for achieving strong results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a local field and office team
  • Manage daily scheduling, workflow and resource allocation
  • Monitor labour efficiency, gross margin and safety compliance
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
  • Report on branch performance metrics and recommend improvements
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and training of staff

About You

  • Proven experience in operations, service management or branch leadership (trade services preferred but not essential)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Organised, commercially aware and results-driven
  • Confident using job management software
  • Ability to balance customer satisfaction with profitability targets
