Our Intern Program:

The 'Future of Pharmacy Intern Program' is a comprehensive three-year program designed to guide the next generation of Pharmacists to excel in retail and community pharmacy operations.

As an intern with Blooms The Chemist you will:

• Learn, network, and collaborate with other interns
• Develop confidence in clinical knowledge and counseling skills in the community
• Receive additional written and oral exam practice focussing on practical clinical and ethical scenarios for their final exams
• Support in building their own personal brand via LinkedIn. Blooms The Chemist Pharmacist interns have the opportunity to network and collaborate through a closed LinkedIn group.
• Opportunity to develop skills in business ownership led by international business leaders
• Learn from and be inspired by successful pharmacy owners within the network
• Meet key pharmacy industry suppliers
• Opportunity to receive mentorship from AACP-accredited Pharmacists within the Blooms The Chemist Network
• Actively contribute to better patient outcomes, building a future where everyone, everywhere has access to good health and wellbeing

What you will learn:

With focus on clinical, ethical, and business practices, the program curriculum supports interns through exclusive workshops and exam preparation tools, networking opportunities with industry leaders, and mentorship of experienced Blooms The Chemist preceptors and other AACP-accredited Pharmacists.

The program will engage with interns every month via alternating monthly emails with monthly half-day zoom meetings. The interns will also attend two face-to-face workshops: firstly at APP and secondly at BSO in July.

Blooms The Chemist believes in recognising and rewarding talented young Pharmacists, providing each intern with a cumulative financial incentive of $30,000 over three years* paid by Blooms The Chemist Support Office. (*Ts&Cs apply).
