M&A Steel Fabrication is a well-established workshop servicing the grain industry, specializing in the fabrication and installation of structural steel, hoppers, chutes, tanks, and mechanical equipment. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join our team and contribute to both workshop fabrication and on-site installation projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate and weld structural steel in the workshop.
  • Perform welding, cutting, and grinding tasks as required.
  • Undertake site installations and maintenance work as required.
  • Work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Implement and maintain safe work practices in the workshop and on-site.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder preferred, but not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Competent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site when required.
