As Australia's first fully integrated rare earths refinery, this milestone project is driving innovation—and we're building a skilled team to make it happen.
The Eneabba facility will process monazite concentrate extracted from Iluka's mineral sands operations, with production scheduled to commence in 2026.
We're currently seeking Experienced Painter Blasters to join our Construction division on a long-term project. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team working across both Civil and SMP scopes, contributing to a major infrastructure build in WA's Mid-West.
Location: Eneabba, WA (Mid West Region)
Roster: 2:1 Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO)
Protect adjacent surfaces using drop sheetsPrepare surfaces by removing old coatings, filling imperfections, and sealingMix paints to specified colours using pigments, oils, and additivesApply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipmentPerform general cleaning of tools, equipment, and work areasGrind and sand surfaces to ensure proper paint adhesionLoad and mix paint into spray systemsConnect and adjust hoses and nozzles for correct spray pressureSecure items in spray booths for safe applicationOperate spray guns to achieve even coating coverageClean spray equipment including nozzles, containers, and hosesSet up and operate abrasive blasting equipment About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
Relevant Trade CertificateNationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)Airless Spray and blasting experience. RIIWHS204D or RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)RIIWHS202D or RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)Previous experience on construction projectsAbility to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screenHigh Risk Work Licence (EWP) – Preferred although not mandatory Civmec + YouAt Civmec, we offer an inclusive workplace built on family values, with a 'Never Assume' culture, sustained by our experienced and supportive management team.
