Summary

We're expanding and looking for experienced Disability Support Workers in Bendigo to join our team. You'll be helping individuals with disabilities through community access shifts, helping in home or out and about in town

Join our team and take advantage of diverse shift opportunities, mornings, days, evenings, and weekends. We need individuals who are ready to work at different times and bring their best to every shift.

Responsibilities


• Assist with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming.


• Provide support and companionship.


• Help with mobility and transportation needs.


• Administer medication and monitor health conditions.


• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.


• Implement individualised care plans.


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.


• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Essentials


• Current NDIS worker screening.


• Current Working with Children Check.


• Reliable vehicle and comprehensively insured

Qualifications


• Certification in disability support or related field is preferred OR


• Experience working and providing personal care personal care.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Compassionate and patient demeanor.


• Ability to handle challenging behaviors and situations.


• Knowledge of disability rights and advocacy


• Comfortable using technology to record case notes
