Cubispec Washroom Systems is a national leader in the design, manufacture and installation of commercial washroom and toilet partition systems. We partner with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders to deliver high-quality, on-time fitouts across offices, schools, hospitals and public facilities.

We're looking for a hands-on Leading Hand / Cabinet Maker to coordinate production activities and lead a small team in our Kewdale workshop. This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson ready to step up into a leadership position — driving quality, safety and efficiency while remaining actively involved on the tools.


About the Role

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and motivating a small production team to meet daily targets
  • Allocating jobs and managing workflow through the production floor
  • Assembling and fabricating washroom partition systems and cabinetry to a high standard
  • Ensuring quality control and adherence to manufacturing specifications
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe factory environment
  • Assisting with scheduling, continuous improvement and production planning
  • Training and mentoring junior team members
  • Liaising with the Operations Director and Project Managers on production timelines and priorities

About You

You'll bring:

  • Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Shopfitting or similar
  • Proven experience in joinery, partition systems, or cabinetry manufacturing
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in joinery, partition systems, or cabinetry manufacturing
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others
  • Minimum 6-12 months of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy and safety
  • A proactive, positive and hands-on attitude
  • Computer literacy (basic Microsoft Office or similar)
  • Valid Australian work rights

Desirable:

  • Forklift licence
  • Experience using time-tracking or production software (e.g. Empower)
