Auburn, Australia Transport for NSW Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

If you're looking to make a difference in your own backyard, this career is for you.

You know that to make a meaningful contribution there needs to be connection and collaboration across the teams. Here's your opportunity to help our people make a big impact.

In this role, you'll:

In this position, you'll be right at the centre of our projects, helping us bring clarity, consistency, and efficiency to how we plan and deliver. You'll be supporting project managers by creating and maintaining accurate schedules using Primavera, and you'll play a key role in shaping how scheduling is done across Sydney Trains. But this isn't just about plugging in dates — it's about building smarter processes, improving how we manage and report data, and making sure our teams and external partners are aligned and working from a single source of truth.

You'll be defining key milestones, setting up reporting structures, and producing insights that help stakeholders make informed decisions. You'll be working closely with internal teams and external delivery partners, and you'll have the autonomy to shape your day-to-day work while contributing ideas that drive better outcomes. existing rail operational and maintenance environments. This isn't just about managing timelines and budgets—it's about operational integration. You'll ensure that new systems and assets are seamlessly embedded into live railway operations, with a sharp focus on readiness, safety and long-term performance.

You'll be the interface—connecting teams, technologies, and timelines. From understanding business impacts and risks, to developing readiness activities through stakeholder engagement, you'll oversee every moving part to ensure safe, compliant, and effective delivery. You'll work within the Digital Systems Business Integration Division, driving change that will shape the future of Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink. Your decisions will carry weight, your leadership will be trusted, and your impact will be felt across the network.

You bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to your work, and you understand the value of standardisation and continuous improvement in a multi-disciplinary environment. You communicate clearly, write well, and know how to navigate conversations with a bit of soft negotiation when needed. If you've got a background in design and construction, that's a bonus.

You'll be reporting to the Design Scheduling Manager, working alongside a collaborative team, and engaging with stakeholders across the organisation and beyond. While you won't have direct reports or budget responsibilities, your impact will be felt in how we deliver projects that keep Sydney moving.
