Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team of clinical and non-clinical staff. This role is crucial in providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will serve as a welcoming point of contact for patients, a trusted colleague, and a reliable support for our practitioners. A background in medical administration and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care are essential. Hourly rate paid based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients in-person and via phone in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and ensure a seamless flow of operations.
  • Handle patient inquiries, assist with procedure bookings, and address questions or concerns.
  • Support general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team as needed.

About You

  • Proficiency in Genie Solutions practice software (preferred).
  • Experience with WorkCover Queensland.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a professional phone manner and polished presentation.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.
  • Personable, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Competent in using computer systems and software, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • An interest in the plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery fields is a plus.
