The opportunity

Medistone Family Practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practice Nurse to join our team. As a part-time General Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare to our patients in Bungendore, NSW.

Key responsibilities

  • Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients, including vaccinations, wound management, chronic disease management, and health education
  • Assisting doctors with clinical procedures and examinations
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and achieve the best possible outcomes
  • Maintaining a safe and clean clinical environment
  • Participating in continuous professional development to enhance your knowledge and skills

What we're looking for

  • A registered nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and general office software
  • A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
