Role Purpose
The Senior Manager of Integrated Place Based Services (Vic East & NSW) is accountable for implementing and operationalising existing and new integrated place-based service models. As part of the Client Services Senior Leadership Team, this role will support the development and integration of programs in adolescent sexual violence, family violence, family services and financial counselling/capability.
These programs and services aim to deliver holistic, evidence-based, trauma informed, client-centric, and ecologically focused services to women, girls, children, youth, and families.
The Key Purpose Of The Position Includes
- Placing a strong emphasis on establishing and deepening community, place-based relationships and fostering holistic wellbeing.
- Creating opportunities that empower women, girls, children, youth, and families to access vital resources and support services earlier, prioritise safety, and cultivate a nurturing environment. This enables them to drive their own change, recovery, and empowerment.
- Demonstrating strong leadership that ensures people have the skills, capability and support to ensure that service delivery is of the highest standard and contractual requirements are met.
- Reporting to the General Manager of Integrated Place Based Services and collaborating with Ecosystem Enablement and the Good Shepherd Institute to strengthen evidence-based service delivery and support innovation.
About You
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Health Services or related discipline, and evidence of Registration where applicable.
- Demonstrated experience managing a range of services and programs within the community sector is essential.
- Demonstrated experience managing a range of family violence services including refuge and high-risk family violence programs is essential.
- Minimum of five years' experience working in leadership roles across multi-disciplinary teams in the community sector.
- Current Victorian Driver's License.
Key Selection Criteria
- Relevant experience in a leadership role responsible for service delivery
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing staff, including practice supervision, recruitment and managing individual key performance indicators.
- A strong understanding of the funding, governance, legislative requirements, and contemporary quality frameworks operating in the sector.
- Demonstrated experience assessing, managing and mitigating client and organisational risks.
- Highly developed interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to work in complex work environments.
- Experience in managing service contracts, with demonstrated understanding of service quality requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in monitoring and reporting and meeting performance targets and program outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial and non-financial resources in line with program requirements.
