FIFO Roster: 1:1 (weekdays only, 38-hour week)
Your new role
As a Councillor, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide counselling to young people and adult carers, including Aboriginal and CaLD communities
- Use brief and therapeutic interventions
- Establish and support self-help groups
- Develop wellbeing care plans using a strengths-based approach
- Engage with local service providers and promote the organisation
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
- Previous counselling experience
- Current Driving Licence
- Proof of Australian working rights
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6 months), Working with Children Card & First Aid Certificate
