FIFO Roster:
1:1 (weekdays only, 38-hour week)

Your new role

As a Councillor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide counselling to young people and adult carers, including Aboriginal and CaLD communities
  • Use brief and therapeutic interventions
  • Establish and support self-help groups
  • Develop wellbeing care plans using a strengths-based approach
  • Engage with local service providers and promote the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Previous counselling experience
  • Current Driving Licence
  • Proof of Australian working rights
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6 months), Working with Children Card & First Aid Certificate
