About the Role

We're seeking a senior Platform Architect to manage and oversee SAP platform services, including HANA and SQL databases. The role combines technical leadership, governance, and cyber security assurance to ensure platform stability, compliance, and alignment with enterprise standards. This position is critical for SAP platform operations, upgrades, and migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide oversight of SAP platform services, including core platform operations and code-level understanding.
  • Ensure cyber security frameworks and governance standards are applied and maintained across SAP platforms.
  • Lead assurance activities, including monitoring, risk mitigation, and reporting for platform compliance and stability.
  • Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and operational improvements, collaborating closely with stakeholders.
  • Define, maintain, and communicate platform management frameworks, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Provide expert advice to executives, product owners, and technical teams on SAP platform strategy and operations.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 12–17 years' ICT experience, with deep expertise in SAP platform services, including HANA and SQL databases.
  • Proven experience in platform governance, cyber security assurance, and operational oversight.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP core services and code-level operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.
  • Experience managing SAP upgrades, migrations, and platform rationalisation is highly desirable.
