About Cybertify

Cybertify is Australia's premier compliance-first cybersecurity consulting firm, proudly Australian owned, fully independent, and sovereign in every respect. We specialise in protecting and enabling organisations in the country's most heavily regulated sectors: financial services, superannuation, legal, aged care, healthcare, banking, technology, and government-aligned enterprises.

The Role

We are seeking a world-class Pre-Sales Solution Architect to serve as the trusted advisor across Cybertify's most strategic engagements. This role sits at the intersection of business, risk, and technologym, guiding clients on their buying journey and ensuring every solution is technically sound, commercially viable, and operationally executable.

You will engage directly with CISOs, boards, CROs, and operational leaders, architecting solutions across the full spectrum of cybersecurity services while working side-by-side with Cybertify's sales team to win and shape major client engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-sales solution architecture for complex, multi-service cybersecurity engagements.
  • Partner with sales consultants to assess client requirements, scope engagements, and shape winning proposals.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions across GRC, offensive (pen testing, red teaming), defensive (SIEM, EDR, Zero Trust), vCISO, cloud security, and data security portfolios.
  • Design, present, and defend solutions to C-level executives, boards, and senior stakeholders.
  • Develop technical content for RFPs, RFQs, and major tenders across BFSI, legal, aged care, healthcare, education, and government.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear client-facing diagrams, roadmaps, and presentations.
  • Deliver workshops, technical demonstrations, and sales enablement sessions.
  • Maintain deep expertise across emerging threats, regulatory obligations, and enterprise technologies.
  • Influence Cybertify's service roadmap and vendor alignment in collaboration with delivery leaders.
  • Contribute to internal templates, frameworks, and methodologies for solution design and pre-sales excellence.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years in a pre-sales, solution architect, or technical consulting role within cybersecurity.
  • Proven client-facing expertise: confident with CISOs, boards, general counsel, compliance teams, and operations leaders.
  • Broad technical capability across:

  • Cloud & Identity: AWS, Azure, Microsoft Entra/Identity/IAM.

  • Cloud Security: secure architecture, workloads, migration risk, compliance.

  • Identity & Access Management: Okta, Azure AD, PingIdentity, privileged access management
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and obligations: ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, Essential Eight, CPS 234, PCI DSS.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender suite, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Netskope, and similar enterprise-grade platforms.
  • Strong commercial acumen — capable of balancing technical credibility with business outcomes.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and tenders with compelling technical and commercial submissions.
  • Exceptional communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with the ability to simplify complexity for executive audiences.
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and a reputation as a trusted advisor.

  • Impactful Work: Solve complex, high-stakes cybersecurity and compliance challenges for boards, regulators, and executives across Australia's most critical sectors.
  • Compliance-First DNA: Operate at the unique intersection of security and governance where GRC integration is not an add-on, but the foundation of every engagement.
