The work will be varied and interesting and covers a range of Battery and Solar projects in the Latrobe Valley region, Mornington Peninsula and reginal Victoria with the opportunity to also travel interstate. Full training will be given.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Commissioning, testing, and programming inverters on site and remotely.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of inverters and associated equipment.
  • Maintenance of electrical installations,
  • Attend and advise on site installations.
  • Follow relevant codes and industry standards which govern electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate aptitude with electrical and mechanical tools.
  • Read manuals, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct operation of equipment.
  • Understand written information and instructions and correspond clearly and concisely.
  • Some administrative tasks
  • Other duties as directed.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • strong electrical knowledge and aptitude, hands-on skills, and good problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • A customer focus and be flexible and attentive to customers' needs.
  • A current practicing License as a Registered Electrician.
  • Current Drivers licence.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.

AC Drives/Inverter Experience would be an advantage.

Must be prepared to travel to various sites for commissioning, repairs and maintenance.
