About the Role

Do you enjoy working with animals, being outdoors, and playing a hands-on role in a farming environment? We're looking for a reliable and motivated Farm Hand to join our dedicated team in Kerang.

Reporting to the Farm Supervisor, you'll be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our rearing farm — ensuring our birds are healthy, comfortable, and cared for to the highest standard. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable and long-term role within a supportive and growing business.

What You'll Do


• Monitor bird feed and water supplies


• Maintain high standards of shed cleanliness, hygiene, and biosecurity


• Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives


• Assist with general farm duties, including manual handling tasks


• Support the Farm Supervisor and Manager with daily operations and reporting


• Be proactive in improving safe work practices and the workplace environment

About You

You take pride in your work, have a strong work ethic, and enjoy working as part of a team. You don't mind getting your hands dirty and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

We're looking for someone who is:


• Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused


• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude


• Physically fit and comfortable working in dusty environments (PPE provided)


• Experienced in farming, animal handling, or shed work (highly regarded)


• Flexible with working hours – Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as required
