Join Our Team as a Compassionate Home Care Worker

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our team of Home Care Workers in the Northern, Southern, Eastern & Western metropolitan Melbourne, Australia.

Second language is highly desirable:

  • Greek
  • Italian
  • Macedonian
  • Croatian
  • Serbian

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional home care services to elderly clients within their residences.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support clients in their mobility and daily living activities.
  • Assist with medications according to clients' prescribed schedules.
  • Prepare meals and ensure dietary needs are met.
  • Undertake housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
  • Offer social support and transportation assistance for medical appointments and grocery shopping.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Support, or a related field is desired. (If you do not have a certificate, home help, cleaning and housekeeping duties will be assigned).
  • Medication Assistance/Prompting certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in caring for elderly or disabled individuals is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Possess a valid Victorian driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • A valid and clear National Police Check.
  • Hold a CPR and First Aid certificate (Level 2).
  • Display compassion, patience, and understanding towards clients.
