We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Italian teacher to join our dynamic Languages Department from Term 1,

This permanent, full-time position provides an opportunity for a creative and highly talented educator to teach Italian classes for Years 7-12. The successful candidate will have a clear commitment to educating boys in this discipline and the ability to create learning environments that ensure the highest standard in the delivery of our Italian language program.

For the right candidate, an opportunity may also exist to lead the Italian teaching team.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Values of excellence, respect, responsibility and reverence
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, marked by integrity and compassion
  • Mastery of subject knowledge and experience teaching Italian to VCE level
  • Ability to deliver a world-class curriculum and an understanding of language learning needs
  • Ability to relate to children and young people
  • Commitment to whole school program
  • Well-developed organisational skills and the capacity to manage complex and competing issues
  • Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in Italian language teaching
  • Relevant qualifications and/or training in child safety and wellbeing
  • Current Employee Working with Children check or VIT
