At Gateways Support Services we walk alongside children, young people and adults with disability and their families to help build independence, confidence and connection. Our services span early childhood intervention, respite, skill development, independent living, specialist care, and more, always shaped around the needs of each individual.

About the role:Support Educators to help make a difference in a child's early education. Your day will be spent engaging with energetic children as they explore their Kinder environment through play, including some with a disability and high support needs.

We currently have multiple part time positions based across Geelong/Barwon, working shifts Monday-Friday (school term time only) to commence immediately. Zones with current vacancies/lines are listed below:  

Zone 1:

  • Breakwater- 8:30am - 1:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (15 hours per week)
  • Whittington - 9:00am - 2:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (15 hours per week)
  • Newcomb - 9:00am - 2:00pm Wednesday & Thursday (10 hours per week)

Zone 2:Armstrong Creek- 10:00am - 2:30pm Tuesday and 10:00am - 3:00pm Thursday (9.5 hours per week)

Zone 4:

  • Drysdale- 1:00pm - 5:00pm Tuesday & Thursday (8 hours per week)

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care / Children's Services is not required, however would be highly regarded.

To be eligible for this role, you will need to have or be willing to obtain:

  • Working with Children Check (Victorian, Employee)
  • NDIS Workers Orientation Module certificate of completion
  • National Police Check
