Quarry Weighbridge Operator

Resource Labour HIre are seeking an experienced & skilled Weighbridge Officer / Operator for a Quarry in Melton - excellent job with a good company

• Experienced Weighbridge Required

• Understanding of the Recycling / Quarry / Civil & Construction Industry

About the role- Melton

As the Weighbridge Operator you will be required to record accurate recordings of daily truck loads from various sites and customers. You will communicate with Internal and External clients obtaining clean fill reports and Job Numbers, registrations in preparing information for month billing of account customers. Quality control of material entering the site on daily basis is required and liaising with the Site Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Accurate Record Keeping with high volume transactions

• Managing Loads and Truck drivers without incurring long delays

• Quality Control of Loads / Managing Material Processes

• Liaising with Grange Environmental on Soil Report Approvals

• PASS Management / Report Approvals / Site testing

• EOM month billing

Major Challenges:

• Industry Knowledge of C&D materials and Trucks

• Accurate Record keeping

• Meeting Deadlines of EOM Financial Reports

• Processing of paperwork

• Filing of Paperwork

• Soil Reports

Requirements

• Experience in Earthmoving Industry

• Weighbridge Experience

• Strong Computer Skills (Excel & Word)

• Strong Verbal and Written Communications Skills

• Understanding of Material Approvals

• Understanding of EPA Soil Classifications

• Starting salary between $40 to $43ph plus travel allowance / overtime
