**Job Title: Gatehouse Attendant**
**Location: Roadstone Recycling Quarry**
**Reports to: Roadstone Operations Manager**

Roadstone Recycling, a division of Patten Pavement Services, is a leading quarry and recycling facility focused on sustainable and efficient operations. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Gatehouse Attendant** to be the first point of contact for all incoming customers arriving on-site. If you’re organised, have great customer service skills and good computer skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

**Position Overview**:
As the Gatehouse Attendant, you will be responsible for greeting customers dropping off or picking up material and ensuring the accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing materials. You will also handle some EFTPOS payments and play a crucial role in site safety and efficiency by communicating site rules and ensuring all procedures are followed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Record truck details such as registration, company name, load size, and material type.
- Communicate site rules, confirm UHf radio communication, and ensure drivers are aware of safety protocols.
- Process EFTPOS payments for materials and ensure proper reconciliation of dockets.
- Perform daily administrative tasks including timesheet data entry and office supply management.
- Ensure accuracy in recording and reconciling material movement and customer details.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace and follow all company safety and health guidelines.

**Key Skills and Attributes**:

- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to confidently handle cash and EFTPOS transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Able to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in a quarry, recycling, or construction environment is preferred.

**Work Environment**:

- The role is based in the gatehouse at the entrance of the quarry.
- Requires interaction with truck drivers and staff.
- May involve sitting for long periods and managing multiple vehicle movements.

- Fixed shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Computer skills: 2 years (preferred)

- Melton, VIC 3337 (preferred)
