Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Hand based in the Northern Beaches. The successful candidate will support daily operations across a range of tasks, including:

  • Assisting with the handling, sorting, and processing of scrap metals
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the worksite
  • Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
  • Operating and maintaining tools and equipment
  • Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols
  • Supporting other team members with general duties as required
  • Performing pickups and deliveries when needed, including driving company vehicles

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling and processing materials, and operating tools and equipment
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow them
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant industry experience is a plus
  • Possession of a valid MR driver's license is advantageous
  • Possession of a valid LF HRWL is advantageous
