We're on the look out for a commercially-savvy lawyer who wants to move into a pure commercial role with one of the region's leading engineering consultancies.

You will take the lead on complex commercial negotiations for high value projects and advise the business on its contractual and commercial positions.

This is a role for someone who likes to get sh*t done.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and mentoring the commercial team
  • Working with bid teams and providing commercial advice and support
  • Reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts
  • Formulating contract management plans and deevloping template documents
  • Advising on, implementing, and monitoring contract management best practices
  • Providing commercial input on tender submissions
  • Assisting in the preparation of progress payment claims
  • Providing cost management support and working with project teams to assist with project financial reporting
  • Managing and resolving disputes

If you're a senior lawyer with experience working with clients involved in the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects relating to transport, mining, power, utilities etc, this one is worth a look.

Demonstrated experience on D&C projects, PPPs and Alliance frameworks would be an advantage.
