About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Baker as well as those willing to learn as bakers assistants to join our team at a BRAND NEW Bakers Delight in Upper Coomera, Queensland

This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to work for a new bakery with all new equipment including the Rotel 3 Ovens and Panem prover and Retarder, contributing to the production of high-quality baked goods.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparation and baking of a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked items according to recipes and production schedules
  • Monitoring the quality and consistency of baked goods throughout the production process
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following all food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering of necessary ingredients and supplies
  • Providing guidance and training to junior bakers and production staff as needed

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in baking
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a qualified baker in a commercial bakery or similar production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and procedures with precision
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods
