About the role

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team at SA Electrical Solutions in the South of Adelaide.

As our Residential Electrical Apprentice, you will gain the FULL SKILL SET to become a qualified electrician with our diverse work load in all areas of electrical.

This is a full-time apprentice position located in South of Adelaide and the surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing


• 1st & 2nd fix of electrical in all areas. ie Kitchen / Laundry / Bathroom wire ups.


• Shed electrical fit outs.


• High-end Rangehood installs and external venting through tin and tile roofs.


• Appliance installs & repairs.


• General power, fans and light installs.


• Regular extension wire ups. Occasional new build.

What we're looking for

  1. Previous trade experience in roofing, roof plumbing or cabinetry highly regarded.
  2. Previous completion of cert II in electrotechnology pre apprenticeship.
  3. A passion for having tools in your hands, whether it be home DIY, working on cars, timber work.
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Each day at work you will be thinking through the steps and process' to be efficient in quality work.
  5. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  6. A commitment to workplace health and safety.

We have been embedded in the South of Adelaide since 2013, have a diverse work load from many different avenues.

We are based in the south of Adelaide @ Kangarilla (15 mins from Woodcroft / Aberfoyle) but majority of work is from Aldinga to City, With some works north of city.

We do all electrical but also specialise in high end rangehood installs inclusive of rooftop venting. ie Any trade experience relative is a benefit.
