Position Summary

About The Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems using Python, SQL, and Spark.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customer-centric data solutions and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Deploy and manage data infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation to ensure robust and scalable data environments.
  • Utilize Snowflake and Amazon Redshift for data warehousing solutions, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement data transformation and integration processes using DBT, SSIS, and Talend to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate data solutions within a scalable SaaS environment using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Continuously explore and adapt to new technologies to enhance data engineering practices and solutions.

About the candidate

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of Python development experience, with a strong focus on data engineering tasks.
  • Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes for developing scalable SaaS offerings.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems and scalable software architecture.
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake and Amazon Redshift.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing data infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in using SQL and Spark for data engineering tasks.
  • Experience with data transformation and integration tools like DBT, SSIS, and Talend.
