Overview:

  • The Data Scientist is accountable to the Chief Clinical Information Officer and works as part of a team responsible for support, maintenance, development, and continuous improvement of the OCMIO's data science products hosted onto the SA Health Cloud Data and Analytics Platform. The Data Scientist has responsibility for leading user and Local Health Network (LHN) engagement to develop new solutions, support solution configuration, evaluate outcomes and coordinate delivery of the OCMIO operational analytics initiatives.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A 'National Police Certificate' NPC (also known as a 'Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check' NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
