Part-Time Videographer / Editor

Surry Hills, Sydney - On-site / Part-time

We're looking for someone who just loves creating.

Someone who gets excited about capturing real moments, telling stories that make people feel something, and being part of something bigger.

You don't need to be an expert or have the fanciest gear. We care more about your eye, your heart, and your willingness to grow.

At Sydney Salsa Classes and Alma Dance, our mission is to bring people together — to help everyday people find confidence, connection, joy, and a space to express themselves through dance.

And we want you to experience that too — not just behind the camera, but as part of the community you're capturing.

What You'll Do

  • Film and edit videos for socials, promos, and community stories
  • Post and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Work with a small, supportive team who'll trust you to explore and create
  • Have freedom, growth, and purpose in what you do
  • (And maybe learn a few salsa steps along the way)

What We're Looking For

  • Someone with a creative eye and basic filming/editing skills
  • A humble learner who's curious, kind, and cares about people
  • Someone who wants to use their creativity to express themselves and make life a little better for others
  • (Bonus) If you love dance or culture, you'll fit right in

Pay & Details

  • $30–$40/hr — Entry level, little to no experience
  • $40–$60/hr — Experienced, depending on skill level
  • Must hold a valid working visa and ABN for invoicing
  • Approx. 1–2 days per week, with room to grow
