Lead with purpose and inspire daily We are seeking a driven Assistant Director to support, lead, inspire and assist in managing our team of Educators, and run the day-to-day operations of our amazing service

About your new role

  • Assisting with managing the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with legislative requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to all staff.
  • Ensure that high-quality early learning programs are delivered by our passionate team of Educators.
  • Support with managing staffing rosters efficiently.
  • Effectively manage the financial requirements of the centre in line with budget guidelines.
  • Ensure that high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices are practiced consistently.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, Educators, the local business community, and all other stakeholders.
  • Ensure you are actively attracting, converting and retaining families by effectively managing and overseeing tours, enrolments and orientation in conjunction with our Enrolments Team

About you

  • A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Degree as approved by ACECQA.
  • Must have experience as a Assistant Director in an early childhood setting.
  • Current WWCC, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
  • Extensive understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework (EYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of qualified and committed early childhood professionals.
  • Willingness to undertake and coordinate ongoing professional development training for Educators.
