Responsibilities
  • Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

  • Full-time position – fixed-term contract until June 2026.
  • Dynamic float role – support across all rooms, gaining variety and a deep connection with every age group.
  • 2 hours per week of dedicated Assistant Director time – fully supported and trained by our experienced Centre Director.
  • Be the right hand of the centre – provide vital day-to-day operational and leadership support.
  • Build strong connections in engaging with families to foster trust, collaboration, and a sense of community.
  • Lead with confidence – bring your experience in leadership and your ability to inspire both the team and our families.

You'll need
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma of Early Childhood Education equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current SA Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
  • Teacher qualified in South Australia – Hold active registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA)
  • Willing to undergo a Police Check
