Job Opportunity: Medical Receptionist (Casual) – NSW

***IMMEDIATE START***

We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical practice. If you have a passion for patient care and strong communication skills, we'd love to hear from you

Location: Merrylands, NSW

Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (inclusive of break time)

Availability: 2–3 days per week (flexible days between Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients and managing appointments
  • Manage bookings, phone and email enquiries, and front desk operations
  • Processing billing and Medicare claims
  • Maintaining patient records in line with privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Providing general administrative support to clinical staff
  • General housekeeping

Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional phone manner and presentation
  • Computer literacy, and experience with practice management software (Pracsoft, Medical Director, Proda) preferred but not essential
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong problem solving and time management skills

· High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail

  • Reliable and punctual, with own transport essential
  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting (Desirable)
