About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Services Agent to join our team at The Sebel Melbourne Kew. As a Guest Services Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is pleasant and memorable. This is a Casual position with full time hours based in the heart of Kew.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and checking in/out guests in a timely and courteous manner
  • Responding to guest inquiries and requests, both in person and over the phone
  • Assisting with luggage and providing concierge services as needed
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Resolving guest issues and concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficient in using hotel management software and technology
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • A positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude
  • Must be available for a variety of Shifts including Mornings, Afternoons and Graveyard
