JBS Australia is seeking a strategic and commercially driven leader to take on the role of Head of Small Sales – Southern, overseeing lamb, mutton, and goat sales across domestic and international markets.

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for someone with deep industry knowledge, strong stakeholder relationships, and a passion for driving growth through collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the smalls sales team across the Southern Division
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with major retailers
• Collaborate cross-functionally with livestock, operations, marketing, and product development teams
• Drive sales planning, execution, and performance aligned with business strategy
• Manage inventory and optimise revenue through product innovation and market alignment
• Expand market reach through customer acquisition and tailored product offerings
• Contribute to strategic planning and provide insights using data analytics and market trends
• Represent JBS in stakeholder engagements and industry forums

What you will bring to the table:

• 10+ years' experience in sales leadership, preferably in the meat or FMCG industry
• Proven track record in managing teams and delivering revenue growth
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Deep understanding of lamb, mutton, and goat markets
• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
