Join MEGT as an Outdoor Power Equipment Technician

Are you a motivated and reliable individual looking for a career in the Manufacturing and Production industry. MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for an Apprentice in Tullamarine.

About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in

  • Cleaning, servicing, refurbishments, and full responsibility for hire fleet upkeep.
  • Parts knowledge, repair quotations, and progression from supervised to solo on-site service work.
  • Learn to effectively use internal IT systems and understand core business processes
  • You will gain the skills and knowledge to service and repair outdoor power equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, and pumps.
  • You will learn to identify small engine components, carry out routine maintenance, and perform safe refueling and pre-start checks.

What we're looking for - Skills & Experience

  • A valid Driver's Licence and vehicle, and white card
  • Demonstrates intermediate mathematical ability and written English skills
  • Intermediate IT skills
