About the role

As a Mechanical Electrician at Vanguard Automation and Electrical Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in mechanical electrical and control installations for our top mechanical service clients in the commercial space servicing Defence, mining, commercial and health sector. This is a full-time position based in Perth with a small portion of FIFO work ideal for someone you wants to ramp up their earnings . You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clients' mechanical and electrical systems, contributing to the overall success of their businesses.

What you'll be doing

  1. Mechanical Electrical Installations
  2. New DDC Control Installations
  3. Retro-Fit DDC Installations
  4. Office HVAC fit outs
  5. Repairing and replacing electrical components as needed
  6. Interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams to identify and resolve problems
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems
  8. Documenting all work performed and maintaining accurate records
  9. Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified "A" Grade Electrical with current WA EW Licence
  2. Experience as a Mechanical Electrician or in a similar role
  3. Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems
  4. Strong understanding of electrical schematics, and control systems
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
