Commercial Maintenance Plumber

Our growing team has a great new role now for a Maintenance Plumber in Sydney to join our team: Monday – Friday and on call roster with potential for extra hours, after hours and weekend work depending on suitability to the position.

Would be best suited to someone who values a variety of work across a number of sites. Opportunities for excavation work and in ground pipe laying such as sewer water stormwater if you have experience in this area also.

About the role – what we would like you to do:

We are a team of approx. 25 commercial maintenance plumbers looking for a new plumber to join our team. You will be competent and responsible for diagnosing plumbing problems, deciding on solutions, ordering materials, preparing materials lists and basic quotes, completing works on our ipad system, productively complete quality work safely. We work across Defence, Government, Corporate, Utilities, Health, Education Sectors. Top tier clients. We are easy to work with and we are proud of our great team culture. Based in Sydney – our work is mainly in South/ East Sydney.

Experience with customer service. Neat and punctual. Flexible and helpful.

Solid understanding of plumbing standards and can keep good accurate records with all required photos and information to relay to office.

Demonstrate you have great experience and employment stability in previous roles

Take pride in yourself, your work quality, site organisation, team safety, and ability to beat daily productivity targets

You take responsibility for your contribution to teamwork, ensuring detailed pre-planning, organisation, and management of resources

Demonstrate excellent leadership to create a productive team and skilled workforce

Communicate effectively with others on site, the office and client – keeping everyone in the loop each day

Must have:

Cert III in Australia (please do not apply if you do not have this qualification)

Flu vaccine and COVID 19 vaccines up to date as we need this for our vulnerable clients like aged care customers
